On the Prowl
Summer has finally set in. No really, it's set in. I spent the past weekend in San Diego and throughout this whole shoot I was sweating. I'm surprised the photos still came out looking good because trust me, I wasn't feeling good at all. I mean, I'm wearing a long dress in 90 degree weather. But, perhaps that's the beauty of fashion...no one ever said it would be comfortable!
Throughout the whole summer, I have been drooling over prints and patterns. It's as if my entire closet is just made up of prints. They're always fashionable and they are very fitting for my skin tone. That is why I decided to purchase this Michael Kors Geo-Print Shift dress. It's perfect for an evening out on the town to go to the ballet, play or symphony. This dress is also suitable for a wedding, going to an up-scale restaurant or any black-tie event. That's what I loved most about the dress when I purchased it because of all the different events I could wear it too.
Now let's talk shoes--When wearing geo-prints or any prints in general D.A.R.E. to be different! What do I mean by that? Wear a bag or shoes that make your outfit even more vibrant. To execute my boldness, I paired this dress with hot pink/orange Jessica Simpson heels. Not only are these heels AMAZINGLY comfortable, but they are also very stylish for the summer.
Below, I have put a shorter version of the dress and shoes that closely resemble what I'm wearing in this post.
Until next time!
