It's been getting super difficult for me to update my blog. Preparing for graduation, packing up to go to Atlanta for the summer--as you can see I really haven't had the adequate amount of time needed for me to constantly post updates.
Since it's spring, I only felt that this outfit was fitting for the season. I was a little skeptical about purchasing these pants as first but then being the eclectic person that I am with my sense of style I decided to just go for it. I really do hate conforming to societal fashion "norms" and am trying to explore different fashion styles. I don't know, I'm just tired of seeing the same thing worn by all bloggers and those in the fashion industries. It's very hard to differentiate yourself from fads and things that are currently in season because lets face it--the moment you become different someone else imitates your style and in many cases can lead to a new trend. But enough about my rant on daring to be different in the fashion industry.
Believe it or not, this Celine shirt is my favorite shirt that I own. It's very "plain" but at the same time, it is very easy to style up or down. There's soo many things you can do with it.
The bag: the back is a look-a-like of the real Philip Lim bag. You can pretty much find this bag at your local Forever 21 store. As for the pants, I found this beauty while I was doing my weekly trip to Marshalls. Believe it or not, these are not pants--they are LEGGINGS. Levi Leggings!
